We have all failed at some point in our lives, be it at school, in our marriage or friendships. Failure brings disappointment and regrets, but the word of the Lord says in Rom 8:28: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for the good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” Failure in life does not mean that we have no hope or that we are totally destroyed, it only means that without failure there can be no improvement or change needs to occur.

When all odds are stacked against you and you see Gods hand in the situation, let go of your own abilities, let go of your view point, because our own self-will delays progress. Failure in itself can be seen as an opportunity. In failure the door is being opened to learn, to grow and to improve in the natural and in the spiritual. Failure produces a better you.

Obstacles that are placed in our path are there to bring out the best that God has placed inside of us and it means that the timing is not yet right. Our view point does not count because God already knows the outcome as being better then we can even imagine. We must see failure as positive, because for a Christian failure means we will have to draw closer to God, because we are nothing in our own abilities and in our own strength.
If everything that we do is always perfect and without failure, we will never see God’s hand in our situation, because we have done it all on our own and we will not grow.

When the devil knocks us down, our shouting and our screaming will not stop his torment and onslaught on our lives. The torment is normally self-centered in our minds, we feel bad and start questioning God. It normally starts with: “How can God allow this to happen to me, I will never succeed in life.” These are all lies from the enemy of our soul, because he knows when we become negative our whole outlook on things become negative. But when we look at failure through God’s eyes we will use every opportunity to improve ourselves no matter how bad things look in the natural. Failure should make us more determined to succeed in what God has called us to accomplish for Him. God’s timing is always perfect. Judge your failure or success through the instructions of what God has called you to do.

How do you view failure today? As a negative or a positive?
Meditate and speak to God about this question, because the answer will determine your outcome in life.

Prayer: Thank you Lord that in a failing situation, you are there to pick me up. Thank you for the courage that You have place inside of me to resist and keep on standing no matter what I face, in Jesus mighty name Amen.
